Tips

We recommend using leisure batteries rather than vehicle starter batteries as the power source for electric fence energizers.

Inadequate grounding is the most common reason for poor fence performance. Building a proper and sufficiently sized grounding system from the beginning will help prevent many problems related to weak fence performance.
