The new S-shaped headpiece – the latest Dy’on innovation
This new S-shaped headpiece is an improvement on the model that you already know. The S shape has been accentuated and the browband sits lower down on the headpiece so as not to hug the base of the ear – one of the sensitive spots on your horse’s head. Accentuating the S shape also makes it possible to espouse the contour of the base of the ear without exerting pressure on it. Breeding goals and equestrian sports have changed considerably in recent years. Our horses are suppler, lighter, more agile, more reactive, and more sensitive. We owed it to ourselves to adapt our products to these changes.

Premium Dressage Round Collection
The hallmark of this collection is its beauty: Dressage Flat Collection items are finished with round leather, stitching in matching colours and stainless steel buckles. Dyon Dressage Collection has been developed in collaboration with the world's top dressage riders such as Morgan Barbançon Mestre and Helen Langehanenberg. Premium Dressage Flat Collection bridles and reins are made of Dy’on leather. The Dy’on leather is produced by vegetable tanning, and it stands out for the beauty and fine finishing of its leather. All of the linings are made of sheep leather, which is more supple and softer than cow leather. Rolled leather in Dressage Round collection is sewn by hand. It is the product of 100% manual handiwork. To produce a piece of rolled leather, you start with a strip of flat leather that is then notched to fold it into a circular shape more easily. The two edges of the leather are sewn together by hand and the seam is embedded in the leather for beauty and to make the result more robust. In this way, the stitches will be protected from wear and remain invisible. Once the two edges are sewn, the piece of leather is softened and shaped until it is perfectly round. It will then be sanded, stained again, and buffed to near-perfection, giving that fine, elegant look for which the items in the collection are known.

Everything in collection is interchangeable. That enables you to create your own bridle by selecting the accessories of your choice. Almost all the components of a given collection can thus be combined. That offers you a vast range of options.  The Dressage Collection is one of Dy’on’s most popular collection of all time.


Dy’on Leather
The leather in the Dyon Premium collections comes from Spain, where this fine Spanish leather is also vegetable tanned using traditional methods and dyed with top-of-the-line natural pigments. Dyon has minimised the addition of accelerants. As a result, tanning Dy’on vegetable-tanned leather can take up to ten times more time than conventional tanning. Long tanning process guarantees better resistance and longevity. Please note that this vegetable-tanned leather must be nourished and regularly take care with quality leather care products to maintain its appearance and physical properties: beauty and resistance.
