HAC Resuscitation Pump for Lambs. A resuscitation pump can be used to resuscitate newborn lambs that have a heartbeat but have stopped breathing. Often, a newborn has a blockage in the respiratory system, liquid or mucus, which can be removed with the suction mask of the resuscitation pump. Another mask is used to pump oxygen for the lamb. Attach the mask with the yellow cap to the pump and place the mask over the lamb's nose and mouth. Pump 4-5 times to remove mucus from the respiratory system. Remove the yellow mask from the pump and place the black mask on the other end. Pump in and out once every 3-5 seconds. After the fifth pump, turn the lamb to the other side and repeat. After use, clean the device carefully with soap and water and dry thoroughly.
