HK Calf Puller with Mechanism 2060
The tension limiter prevents pulling the calf with too much force. Without regulation, tensile forces of up to 600 kg can be achieved, representing a substantial risk of injury to the cow and calf. For normal births, forces of up to 160 kg are entirely sufficient. The HK Rheintechnik Mechanism 2060 is fitted with a freely adjustable tension control. The lever locks when the pre-set force is attained. The tension control can also be released in an emergency. Mechanism 2060 is low weight, as made entirely out of aluminium. D-handle for good grip. 2 hooks for the calving ropes (equal tension). Super easy to use quick release, even under load. The mechanism can be moved 360° around the tube in all models, providing unlimited flexibility. 3-year warranty.
Tie rod
Stable and thick-walled steel tube length is 180 cm. A unique and patented groove design gives the mechanism a secure hold. The tie rod’s geometry means the locking plates are applied all over the surface, rather than only at certain points. This improves force transfer and reduces wear. The rounded edges of the grooves further minimise wear and tear. The unique machining process lends the tube greater wall thickness and therefore greater stability. The tube can be disassembled into three parts, for easy storage: HK Rheintechnik calf pullers are ideal for transporting in cars (e.g. for vets).
HK Flexi Frames- 58cm
The best protection against slipping. The frame surrounds the mother’s pelvis and reliably prevents slipping down and to the side. Tiltable, pulling motion possible both towards the tail and towards the udder. Frame made from galvanised steel tube with a smooth surface, making it both hygienic and easy to clean. 3-year warranty.
