CHEEKPIECE - FULL CHEEK GAG – The Full Cheek Gag cheekpiece, will have the same effect as the traditional eggbutt in so much as, it will prevent pinching on the sides of the mouth, however the extended pins above and below the bit, firstly prevent the bit being pulled through the mouth and secondly have the effect of guiding the horses head which is great for schooling and training purposes. Full Cheek Gag is stronger than the usual Full Cheek as the ropes going through the rings create leverage which will exert more pressure through the mouthpiece whilst at the same time introducing more poll pressure. The cheekpiece is available in one size, standard (Ø72mm, height 160mm) Supplied with gag ropes.
