CHEEKPIECE - Pelham - The Pelham has attachments for two reins, one near the mouthpiece and one at the end of the shank. Some riders, may prefer to use rein connectors. The Pelham shank will exert moderate poll pressure and leverage on the mouthpiece and curb. Traditional cheek piece with curb chain, introduces poll, tongue and curb pressure. The cheekpiece is available in 2 sizes, standard and a slightly smaller model for a pony.The standard size Pelham has 2 length shanks, 55 Shank (width 50mm, height 115mm, purchase 30mm) and 75 Shank (width 50mm, height 135mm, purchase 30mm). The longer shank allows for more hand movement and slows the leveraging of the pressure points. Supplied with stainless steel curb chain and hooks.
