Kerbl Milking Test KerbaTEST. To determine the cell content of raw milk i.e. CMT test. The cell content of milk increases when the cow's udder is inflamed. The cell test shows mastitis even before visible changes in the milk. Package size: 1L and 5L.
Correct use:
Important: Direct the first three cell and bacteria-rich jets into a pre-milk cup since the pre-milk contains an increased number of cells.
From each udder quarter, direct a little milk into the corresponding wells of the test dish
Tilt the test dish to pour off excess milk down to the line marking.
Before the first test, aspirate any liquid by pump. From the dispensing pump, the required quantity of test liquid is now added to each field in a single stroke.
With slow circular movements of the test dish, mix the test liquid with the milk. The result can be read off after a few seconds.
Pour off the test mixture and rinse out the dish with water. The dish is now ready for the next test. It does not have to be dried first.
