To choose the right size:

The length of the back is an important factor in choosing a jacket, as the jacket is intended to cover the entire back from the neck to the base of the tail. The dog's back is measured while the dog is standing on a flat surface. Using a soft tape measure, measure the length of the dog's back from the weather (around the collar) to the base of the tail.

The chest circumference is measured at the widest point of the dog's chest, behind the forelegs.

If your dog is between two sizes (e.g. chest circumference of another size and neckline of another), it is better to take a larger size. Also proportion the sizing according to the structure of your dog. For example, for a breastfed dog, you may want to choose a slightly looser size because the bust will take the length of the garment.
