Milka Hens and Chicks Lime 10kg is suitable for chickens of all ages to ensure adequate calcium intake. The use of lime in feeding helps the bones of the young bird to develop evenly. In laying hens, lime affects the formation of the egg shell. If the chicken does not get enough calcium in the feed, the quality of the eggshells starts to deteriorate and the chicken suffers from a lack of calcium. Lime is 1-3 mm grit. Dosage as needed.
