Pharmaxin Disinfectant Jodopax Vet 500ml. Jodopax vet is a disinfectant for veterinary use. It has a strong and rapid effect bacteria, including salmonella, fungi and viruses. Jodopax is also effective against spores. Jodopax vet is an iodophor-based product containing 5% iodine. The surfactant (surfactant) gives the product great permeability and good cleaning effect. As long as Jodopax solution retains its original characteristic brown iodine colour, it has full disinfecting power.
Effect:
Jodopax has a strong and rapid effect on bacteria, including salmonella, fungi and viruses. Jodopax is also effective against spores. The surfactant gives the product good permeability and cleaning power. As with other disinfectants, the effectiveness of iodine is reduced by dirt. Very dirty object or surface should therefore be cleaned before disinfection with Jodopax.
Use:
Jodopax has a wide range of uses:
- Cleaning and disinfection of skin and wounds.
- Disinfection of skin infections
- Disinfection of animal shelters and work equipment
Jodopax can be used with a backpack sprayer or a pressure washer. They should be rinsed thoroughly after use. The Jodopax dilution does not sting or irritate the skin. With the recommended dilution for use allergic reactions occur very rarely.
Instructions for use and dilution:
Use/ Jodopax vet per water litre/ Dilution Iodine Content
- Disinfection of the skin during surgery, e.g. castration 20 ml 0.10 %
- Wound cleansing and dressing 4 ml 0.02 %
- General hygienic skin disinfection:
Washing ringworm of sows: Wash the spots and around
skin areas undiluted jodopax 4 ml 0.02 %.
- Disinfection of animal housing and tools.
Duration of action 10 min. 10 ml 0.05 %
- For bacterial spores or difficult to
contaminated areas.
Duration of action 5 hours in solution. 10 ml 0.05 %
-Footbaths at the entrances to cattle pens 10 ml 0.05 %
