Made from thick, waterproof fabric with a soft fleece inner lining. On both sides of the saddle cover there are "protection pockets" for the buckle heads of the saddle girth (see picture). Keeping the saddle girth over the saddle cover keeps the saddle clean and prevents it from chafing. The saddle cover protects the back of the saddle all the way down. We recommend!
