Dy’on Mineral-Tanned Leather
The mineral-tanned leather used in Dyon Chaps -collection is produced by a mineral tanning bath. This tanning is done in Germany with a pH-neutral chromium bath. The leather is mainly dyed with natural pigments and vegetable dyes. The tannery uses a tanning process that is as environmentally friendly as possible. This tanning method enables the leather to withstand all weather conditions, which guarantees its outstanding physical properties as long as possible. Respect for the environment and work well done have been the founding principles of our values for the past thirty years.

Choosing the suitable size of half- chaps
Measure the circumference of both calves (calf) from the widest part of the calf with a soft measuring tape. Also measure the height of both legs (high) from the floor to the knee bend. The chaps should be as tight as a "second skin" the first few times they are used, so that they remain snug and stylish year after year. Remember to wear breeches and socks when fitting and measuring so that the measurement is as close to "correct" as possible. See the measurement instructions in the picture and choose the most suitable size for your measurements using the size chart. The most suitable half-chaps are best found in the store by trying different chaps models together with the guidance of an expert salesperson.
The chaps should be tight when new, so the calf measurement of the chaps should be about -2cm smaller than the calf circumference and the height measurement of the chaps should be about -3cm shorter than the calf height measurement from the floor to the knee bend. If you want, you can choose the chaps that suit your needs, for example, if you want the chaps to be slightly tighter/wider or taller/shorter than the recommended measurements.
Dyon's half-chaps can also be ordered as a custom order.
