Hoof Cutting Disc DL Soft Ø 100 mm

Demotec Hoof Cutting Disc DL Soft Ø100mm was developed in close cooperation with professional hoof trimmers and assessed by discerning professionals.

• In clinical use, the cutting disc has been shown to reduce the time spent on hoof trimming, which reduces costs.
• The DL cutting disc produces a clean surface, making it easier to detect hoof injuries.
• The DL disc is made of aluminium which reduces vibration and is light to use.
• This extends the life of the sander.
• In use, the disc allows gentle hoof cutting without dust, odour or a heated hoof.
• The disc has 7 cutting blades made of durable carbide tungsten carbide.
• The blades are highly wear-resistant and long-lasting.
• The cutting blades can be reversed and replaced if necessary.
• Up to 400 animal hooves can be cut with one set of blades.
• The cutting blades are factory adjusted to cut large pieces and remove pieces quickly.
• The blades of the Demotec DL Soft cutter are closer to the centre of the blade than in a normal DL cutting disc. 

Instructions for changing blades:
The cutter is delivered with the blades installed. You can start working straight away. The blades should only be replaced if they are damaged or dull. Each blade is attached with a screw set, which includes a screw, nut and pry bar. 

1. Fix the blade by placing the nut on the blade.
2. Place the pricker and blade on the patch. Place the dowel between the nut and the blade.
3. Insert the screw into the side hole of the socket so that the screw passes through the blade and into the nut. Tighten to 20 N/m.

Warnings:
- Read the safety instructions for the sander.
- Use protective gloves.
- Tighten the screws again after working for a while.
- Clean the disc regularly.
