Cow Drencher

HAC Cow Drencher. Drencher suitable for cows. Container capacity 25 litres.

Instructions for use: keep the cow's head down. Keep the head low to ensure a direct route to the rumen. Carefully insert the pipe into the cow's mouth and attach the nose pliers. Gently insert the hose through the pipe into the cow's mouth until you feel resistance at the back of the mouth. Pause and let the cow swallow the hose. Do not force it. Push the tube up to the red mark. Before inserting the hose into the pump, make sure the hose is in the rumen. Listen and smell. You will smell the urine fermenting and hear bubbling and gurgling. You should not hear any breathing coming from the hose. Connect the hose to the pump. Pump gently and steadily. At the end, tilt the container towards the hose connection and pump a few more times. Disconnect the hose from the pump and raise the hose for 10 seconds. Blow any remaining liquid out of the hose. Carefully remove the hose first and then the pipe.

Improper use of the device can have disastrous effects (pumping the substance into the animal's lungs). If in doubt about your ability to use the device, consult your veterinarian.
